Explore Elegant Gardens

In the middle of the park you will find the spectacular Villa Torlonia mansion dating from the first decades of the 19th century and built for the wealthy banking family, the Torlonias. In 1925 it became Mussolini's residence. It is one of the most picturesque parks of Rome with many fine trees, huge bamboos and various other buildings including a theatre, a small museum of Roman statuary and House of the Owls with its magnificent art nouveau in style.
