Historical Temple

This beautiful church just north of Place de la Concorde was designed as a temple to the glory of Napoleon's army. Look out for the fresco entitled The History of Christianity with Napoleon at centre stage for a peek into the inevitable collisions of history and art which have occurred through the centuries.
