Supetar: Brac’s Vibrant Coastal Haven
Discover Shallow Beaches and Konobas
The largest town on Brac, Supetar has around 3,500 permanent residents and is also the main town of the island. Pretty and lively, this town is located on the coastline, which boasts a natural cove where beaches have warm, shallow waters that are ideal for children to play, as well as adults. The main beach in Supetar also has a giant water slide, which is very popular with children. The summer months are a busy time for this town, with plenty of people bustling around the beaches during the day, and strolling along the quayside (known locally as the 'riva') during the evening. There is plenty to see and do in Supetar, whether you meander your way through the narrow stone streets, taking in the small art galleries and local bars (often known as 'konoba' which literally translates as 'wine cellar') or enjoy a meal al fresco, or an ice cream by the quay.
