Patara Beach is simply not to be missed. Its 12km stretch of sand and dunes forms part of a national park, and is a breeding ground for the giant loggerhead turtle. Because of this vital conservation project, and the fact that Patara is a National Park, you will be charged a small entrance fee per person; however, you will not be disappointed, as Patara has been voted as one of the top beaches in the World. There is a small café serving food, drinks and ice cream as well as toilet and shower facilities. Umbrellas can be hired for a fee. This is a very child friendly beach and being the longest beach on the Mediterranean, you are sure to find a secluded spot for you and your family.
