A Day of Nature and History

A day out to discover the highest active volcano in Europe, through nature and flavours, ancient craters and lava flows, lunar landscapes, lush forests, houses surrounded by lava and breathtaking views. The visit will take you up to about 1.900 meters above the sea level. The tour is followed by an afternoon in Taormina situated on a plateau of Mount Taurus. The free tour of the town can be gauged from the landscape, the narrow streets and buildings from Greek-Roman and Medieval times.
