Family Fun Near the River

An easily accessible little area which can be found 10 minutes from the house (on foot). Next to a small river, you'll find a chalet with a mini cafe alongside a children's playground. Kids are offered plenty of activities such as swimming in the summer and snow rafting in the winter, giving adults some time to relax. If you opt to visit in the summer you'll also find that pony rides are on offer, giving children the chance to wander through the woods on the backs of stocky, sturdy Shetlands ponies (a breed known for their pleasant temperament, short stature and steadiness on uneven terrain).
