London's Evolution
The Museum of London tells the story of the capital from its first settlers to modern times. They have over a million visitors each year and hold the largest archaeological archive in Europe. You can walk around the galleries exploring the old London transport vehicles, Victorian style clothing, the barber and pharmacy in miniature and the history maps, painting and objects. The entrance to the museum is free although it does accept donations.
