Discover the Photogenic Falls

The village of Chamarel, 15 minutes north of Bel Ombre, is home to two natural wonders - the Chamarel Falls and the seven 'coloured earths' of Chamarel, created by volcanic rocks cooling at varying temperatures. They're both remarkably photogenic but come in the early morning and the 'coloured earths' are bright enough to rival stained glass thanks to the layer of dew which coats them each day.
