This onsen is located inside the Hirafutei hotel, at the side of the Family run ski slope in Hirafu where you can watch people skiing from the hot, steamy waters. Facilities are basic, but it is conveniently located for anyone wanting to take a break while in Hirafu or for the non-skiers to enjoy while waiting for their group to finish on the slopes.
