Coastal Charm in the Heart of Kogelberg

Located between Betty's Bay and Hermanus, Kleinmond is a small coastal town within the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. The entire coastline is a paradise for outdoor-lovers, with many hiking trails and activities on offer, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, river rafting and various sand and surf activities. The beach at Sandown Bay is wide and vast with a dune field stretching around to the bay at Hawston. Just 10 minutes drive from Arabella with ample parking this beach has recently been awarded a blue flag status, with lifeguards on duty in the high season. There is a large picnic area next to the lagoon with a children's playground, a cafe and restaurant for breakfast and lunch.
