Vidova Gora Long Hike

The Vidova Gora trail is one of the most beautiful hiking loops on Brac island.

The hike begins in the authentic shepherd's village of Gažul, from where the walk takes you through thick black pine woods towards the highest peak of all the Adriatic islands - St. Vid. Upon arrival at the belvedere, you'll be greeted with an amazing view of the mid-Dalmatian archipelago.

This view is sure to amaze you, as you can see as far as the islands of Korčula and Vis. After a short break to take photos and rest, you continue hiking. Heading back to the starting point through the Trolokve area, you'll pass through this beautiful natural area with three stone-framed water preserves, where you may often spot sheep and horses roaming freely around Vidova Gora. You'll then return to the starting point - the authentic stone shepherd's village Gažul.
