Prague Eyes Vltava embankment

"Prague Eyes" is an innovative cultural hub located along the Vltava embankment, designed by Czech architect Petr Janda and his firm, Brainwork. Once a neglected area, the quayside between Náplavka and Rašínovo was revitalised by restoring circular vaults that were historically used for ice storage. This transformation has created a vibrant space filled with cafés, galleries, and bars, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors.

At the heart of this project is the unique design featuring tunnel-like spaces, each fronted by a striking monocle-like glass window that weighs over two tons and pivots open for entrance. With its dynamic atmosphere, Prague Eyes has quickly become one of the city's buzziest areas, especially at night. Restaurant boats line the riverfront on one side, while lively music spills from the bars housed in the concrete-lined vaults on the other. This engaging blend of history, culture, and nightlife offers a delightful experience for those exploring Prague's evolving landscape.
