Giant Crocodiles and Meet Domino the Tortoise

This is an ideal day out for families with children of all ages. This nature reserve was opened in 1985 and is located in the south of the island. For toddlers, there are tortoise rides available, and the crocodiles and monkeys are sure to keep your older ones amused. Both entertaining and educational, the guided tours also come highly recommended. As you take an unforgettable walk through the reserve, where giant bamboos tower above, you will get to see the thousands of Nile crocodiles which reside in the park. Afterwards, meet Domino, one of their oldest giant tortoises at around 90 years old, before moving on to the children's playground, where your kids can play among the trees and birds. Other attractions include mongooses, geckos, monkeys, deer and bullfrogs. There is also a beautiful collection of butterflies on show, with over 23,000 species housed there.
