Wine, Art, and Boutique Shops

A 30 minute drive from Stellenbosch, and only 50 minutes from Cape Town, Franschhoek is part of the Four Passes Fruit Route. Known as the 'French Corner', Franschhoek is home to over 29 wine farms, as well as some lovely art galleries and boutique stores. This beautiful valley has recently launched a Cap Classique route that includes nine cellars, all within 4km of one another. From here, there is a sparkling wine tour available, which teaches visitors about the method of making Cap Classique. A wonderful place to spend the day.
