Vibrant Street Festival

Locals party in honour of the city's patron saint, the Virgin de la Merce, with sardanes (local dances), swimming races across the harbour, free concerts and endless cultural events. The fabulous giants and correfocs (fire-eating devils) hold centre stage throughout the week.
