Fairmont Heritage Place, San Francisco (Exclusive Resorts)
Fairmont Heritage Place at Ghirardelli Square is a restored historic San Francisco landmark, an imaginative reworking of buildings dating back to 1864, which were originally part of Ghirardelli's cocoa, wool, mustard and chocolate factories. The 11 luxury apartments housed in the residential development offer breathtaking views of the Bay or Russian Hill as well as access to Fairmont Heritage Place's amenities, including a gym, a games room and a daily wine and cheese reception.
Each residence is a loft-style retreat with two ensuite bedrooms and an open plan living area with exposed red brick walls. In addition to access to Fairmont Heritage Place's amenities, you'll also have full use of a house car and a chauffeur.
Drive to boutique vineyards in Wine Country: Napa and Sonoma Counties are easy day trips from your residence at Ghirardelli, and let expert winemakers introduce you to their favourite vintages. Or take a stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge and stop for a lunch break in the quaint bayside town of Sausalito before taking a ferry ride out to Alcatraz, where you can explore the historic prison. For a night on the town, head to Top of the Mark on the 19th floor of the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel, and sample one or several of the 100 delicious martinis on their impressive menu.
