The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman (Exclusive Resorts)
Set along Seven Mile Beach in the Cayman Islands, the 14 villas housed within the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman offer a beautiful Caribbean setting with large terraces, private plunge pools and stunning views of the lagoon and the resort's golf course designed by Greg Norman.
Built in contemporary plantation-house style featuring a pergola awning, these luxury Cayman villas front a pool surrounded by sun loungers - perfect for tropical cocktails whether in the afternoon or in the evening.
The eclectic interiors are reef-inspired and feature refreshing colours of the Caribbean: breakfast bar stools in citrus green, blue sofas, orange and blue rugs and artwork in similar shades. The four bedrooms are furnished in delicious tropical hues with views of the lagoon and the golf course beyond.
During your stay in your luxury home in the Cayman Islands, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do. Hop on one of the two private golf carts provided to you during your stay and explore the resort. For a day of pampering, head to the Silver Rain, at La Prairie Spa, and enjoy a firming caviar facial or an aromatherapy massage.
For lunch, head to the Cracked Conch and order local specialties, such as turtle soup, the national dish of the Cayman Islands, followed by tender cracked conch and pink snapper. Then walk it all off on the shores of Seven Mile Beach.
Sun seekers may want to try diving or fishing. Elsewhere, there's the Cayman Turtle Farm, a land-based attraction, which includes a turtle breeding pond, a free flight aviary and a Predator reef, amongst others. Then if it all gets a little bit too much, head back to the villa for dinner where a feast, prepared by your own private chef, awaits.
