Real-World Jobs in a Fun, Child-Sized City

Perhaps the most unique theme-park chain in the world, KidZania offers children a chance to try their hand at a variety of different jobs in a miniature world. The park itself is an indoor miniature city where children up to the age of 14 years can earn park currency (a great deal of the activities teach children about money through the park's internal economy) whilst becoming doctors, dentists, designers, animators, pilots, factory workers, firefighters and a myriad of other jobs. It's a tremendously educational yet entertaining environment and can even encourage youngsters to develop crucial life skills such as cooking and basic repairs. Adults are not allowed to participate (there are experienced staff on hand to supervise and teach), so they can take some time to unwind in the waiting lounge or (if their child is at least 8 years old) can go shopping provided that they leave contact details.
