For young and old! An amusing daily ritual at Vernegoegd Wine Estate where a flock of Indian Runner ducks line up in eager anticipation for their day in the vineyards. The waddling work force is essential for the farms pest control. 1070 ducks are utilized in the control of the snail and pest population. The ducks are also a big part of why Vergenoegd carries a WWF biodiversity certificate.
