Aquatic Life and Wildlife Adventures

Located in Hua Thanon, the aquarium hosts many local species of coral fish and several sharks such as leopard or black tip sharks. After marvelling at the beauty of the aquatic life in long and dark galleries of tanks, you will come out in the Tiger Zoo where tigers and leopards are kept. Although they are held in small cages, a sign indicates that felines are only held temporarily in these cages and will return to a wider park in the back of the zoo. After observing these magnificent animals, you will be invited to a bird show where parrots, hornbills, sea hawks and eagles will perform. For 100 baht per person with your camera or 200 baht with the zoo's Polaroid, you can take a picture with a tiger to take home with you as a souvenir from your trip with proceeds going to the Tiger's Foundation. On the way out don't forget to say 'hi' to the few birds and monkeys!
