Step Back in Time

Built in 1797 and featuring typical Cape Dutch architecture, Burgerhuis Museum, which literally translates as 'Burger House', is a cultural museum that has been sympathetically restored to capture the essence of 17th and 18th century living in the old Cape. Situated within a group of buildings surrounding the village green (also known as the Braak) in Stellenbosch, this is a fascinating place to visit.
